Lots of exciting news about the Sun Odyssey 349! First, we did a 80 nautical mile delivery of the Sun Odyssey 349 from La Ciotat to Cannes in the south of France. We had a fantastic run downwind in 28-35 knots of wind. We hit 14.7 knots surfing down 3m waves and generally had a great time! We even averaged over 10 knots over the first 4 hours. All this is a 10m boat without a backstay! Here is a picture that a passing motorboat took of us.
Once we got to Cannes, we had 3 very good days of sailing during our press trials.
